Howard Gilliam Jr.
Director of Production

Howard holds a B.A in Mass Communications Radio/Television, minor in theater from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC. He is also a noble member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Howard is the director, cameraman and non linear editor of Urban Expressions a billboard music video show that aired for over a decade on WGTW TV 48, now on WYBE TV 35 in Philadelphia. Howard  manages a video production company that offers wedding videos, bar mitzvas packages, music videos and religious programming that airs weekly on the Trinity Broadcast Network. Howard is also the co-founder of Newartistsonline.com, a web based music distribution company that distributes more than 1000 independent artists CDs on his roster. As the Director of Production for VSN Network, Howard brings a multi faceted hands on experience to the position. He is responsible for content acquisition, content development and on going branding of VSN Network.

Sidney Paul
Director of Photography

Sidney is an internationally known photographer and his career span over 25 years.  He sees himself as a Beauty/glamor photographer.  For over 10 years, Sidney was the Director of Photography for Accents on hair magazine, an upscale beauty trade magazine distributed in 30 states and 10 countries.  His work has appeared in numerous publications such as Modern salon, American salon, Hype hair, Moods magazine. Sidney directed several international photo shoots in Paris, Martinique and Guadeloupe with E! Entertainment television sponsored by leading beauty and cosmetics manufacturers.   His distinct work is always recognizable through his mastering of the lighting elements.  Sidney is also a gifted jazz musician. His Love of Music and rhythm often brings a unique character and inspirational dimension to his photography.

Michel Thomas
CEO and founder

Formally educated in Paris at Sorbonne University and Ecole Polytechnique, Michel possesses a diversity of creative skills, including hands-on sales/marketing, publishing, event planning and producing.  Shortly after moving to New York, Michel founded and published Accents on Hair, an upscale bilingual beauty industry publication distributed in 30 states and 10 countries. Michel’s first edition was a noted success, selling 30,000 copies within one month of inception.
Throughout the years, his company hosted major events showcasing the hottest trendsetters and largest beauty manufacturers. Among them, John Atchison, Jacques Dessange (L’Oreal, Paris), Gerard Dure (Guadeloupe Co-production with Revlon), Haute Coiffure de Paris (Martinique Co-production with the French Office of Tourism and E! Entertainment Television) Today, Michel maintains the largest multi-cultural beauty salon data-base in the United States of over 8,000 clients.

When the 9-11 catastrophes rendered his building unoccupied for seven months, Michel felt that it was  also time to switch gears as the print media was drastically downsizing. In 2004, Michel founded International Event and Media Consulting  a micro investment company branching into the event, video, publishing, and marketing industries. IEMC  was renamed V-SN TV to focus exclusively on the Salon/spa and beauty market. In Sept. 2012,  V-SN TV became VSN Network to further expand and become a Beauty and Lifestyle Channel.  VSN Network  is now positioned to become a major multi-media organization embracing cutting edge technologies.
